Spiced Masoor Dal (Red Lentil Curry)

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Bumi Spices Masoor Dal (Red Lentils)
• 1 tbsp ghee or oil
• 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
• 1 medium onion (chopped)
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 tomato (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp Bumi Spices Turmeric Powder
• 1/2 tsp Bumi Spices Red Chili Powder
• 1/2 tsp Bumi Spices Garam Masala
• Salt to taste
• 3 cups water
• Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions:
• Rinse the masoor dal and soak it for 15 minutes. • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and cumin seeds. • Once they splutter, add onions and sauté until golden. • Add garlic, tomatoes, and spices. Cook for 2 minutes. • Add lentils and water. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until
soft. • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with steamed rice
or roti.
