Description of services
The project involve emergency Design/ Construction support services for the relocation of DC Department of Public Works Solid Waste, Tree Division and Salt Operations to the Brentwood Site acquired by the City from BET. The Benade Group, Inc. was responsible for site clearing and paving of Approximately 2 acres, design and build Construction of 3 Temporary Buildings with utilities for electrical, water and sewer lines, Storm Drainage and 155 parking spaces.

Description
A multidiscipline, multiyear Indefinite Delivery Quantity Contract (IDIQ) for design, maintenance, repair, and minor construction services on real property facilities owned and leased by the District of Columbia Government. Projects involve carpentry, asphalt and concrete paving, roofing, excavation, interior renovation, electrical plumbing, HVAC, ductwork, air balancing, painting, demolition, and masonry. The Benade Group performed the above stated improvements as a subcontractor to Dynamic Corporation on some of the District of Columbia Properties during working hours, while the spaces were occupied by over 10,000 District of Columbia staff.

Project Management Ability.
The listing shown below represents a few of the projects managed by our staff under this contract. At times, we have been responsible for as many as ten projects under construction and many more being estimated and negotiated. We manage this contract with a full-time Project Manager, and Delivery Order Managers that coordinate the construction activities to ensure schedule performance and quality of workmanship. Business functions are performed by our corporate home office staff.

Cost/Price. As evidenced above, the IDIQ-type projects vary in scopes and values. The projects are primarily bid on a fixed price/unit price basis.
